Safeplace Benefit

The Haleyville First United Methodist Church will be hosting a benefit for Safeplace.  It will be held Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. in the Slaughter Fellowship Hall at the First United Methodist Church on 9th Avenue in Haleyville. 

Ginger Stone is the Assistance Director of Safeplace. She is also a survivor of domestic violence and will share her story of how Safeplace helped her to construct a new life free from violence. There is no charge for admission, but there will be an opportunity to give for individuals who wish to make contributions to the organization. Light refreshments will also be served, and a nursery will be provided.
