Spring Sports in Full Swing

Spring sports are now in full swing, and it was a busy weekend for the Haleyville Lions and Lady LIons. The Lady Lions took part in the Northwest Alabama Umpires Tournament in Vernon Saturday. They defeated Hackleburg, Berry, and Lamar County. The Lady Lions will play Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at Lawrence County. 

The Varsity LIons played at Winfield Saturday as a part of the West Alabama Conference Tournament. The Haleyville Lions faced Sulligent and Winfield and won both of those games.  They will play Tuesday evening at Hamilton at 6:30.
