Haleyville faced Brooks in Week 6 of High School Football Friday night and secured second place in the region with a big win. In the opening quarter, Haleyville earned the first points with a 14 yard Kiser pass to Brady Sherrill to give the Haleyville Lions a 7 point lead. Next, Brooks came back with a 10 yard run to even the score before the end of the quarter. The remainder of the half belonged to Haleyville with a 46 yard Kiser pass to Ben Richards to give Haleyville a 14-7 lead at halftime. The only score in the third quarter was a Kiser pass to Dillon Posey for a 12 yard score, and Brooks rounded out the game with a 1 yard run to make the final score Haleyville 22 Brooks 13.
