The Winston County Sheriff's Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration to ensure old and/or unused prescription medication is being disposed of properly. Representatives from the WCSO will be at the Gateway Pharmacy in Double Springs and the Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Haleyville Saturday from 10:00-2:00. The deputies will collect unused medication, and they will send it to the DEA for proper disposal. For more information, contact the Winston County Sheriff's Department.
