Brenda Ladun Luncheon

Mrs. Peggy League, mother of Gerita Rye, greeted Brenda Ladun at the Lakeland Community Hosptial sponsored luncheon on Thursday, October 25, at the 9th Avenue Church of Christ Fellowship Hall. Approximately 200 women and a few men heard Mrs. Ladun speak about her experince with cancer and how important it is to be screened for breast cancer. She said the key is early dectection and talk about it. "Thirty years ago, we could not talk about it, but now we can. Don't let fear stop you. Fear not, get checked," stated Ladun.
