Wreck Injures Motorcyclist

A 30-year-old motorcyclist hit an SUV leaving a driveway around 5 PM Monday at 2894 Beach Grove Road. The cyclist, Eddie Joe Johnson, an employee at Hicks' Tire, sustained multiple injuries. He was alert and responsive and transported by Air Evac Lifeteam helicopter to UAB Hospital. Haleyville Police are investigating the accident.
