BOE Announces 5 Finalists

The Haleyville Board of Education has announced the five people it will interview for the position of Superintendent.

They are:

Sandra Aldridge, Deputy Superintendent of Personnel and Federal Programs, Fayette County Board of Education;

William "Bill" Bishop, Director, Haleyville Center of Technology;

Dr. Alan Miller, Director of Student Services, Eufaula City Schools;

Russ O'Rear, Principal, Haleyville Middle School; and,

John Wilcox, Assistant Superintendent, Tallapoosa County Board of Education.

Nineteen people applied for the position. Interviews begin Monday, May, 7, 5:30 PM, and are open to the public.
