Hackleburg Memorial Monument

Hackleburg Citizens and Friends are making preparations to install a Storm and Veteran Memorial Monument. The memorial will be dedicated at Hackleburg Neighbor Day on April 28, 2012. 

The memorial will have the names of the 25 victims in Marion County who lost their lives during the tornado outbreak of April 27, 2011. It will also have the names of the four victims of the April 12, 1943, storm and the names of Hackleburg area veterans from World War I to date, currently 114 names.

Those wishing to assist with donations can send them to the Hackleburg Memorial Fund at Peoples Trust Bank, PO Box A, Hackleburg AL 35564.
