The power outage Sunday evening around 7 p.m. across the northern part of Haleyville was caused by a box truck snagging a power line just north of the Jordan apartments on Dime Road. All of Littleville Road across to and including Marion County Highway 85 was without power until Alabama Power crews repaired the downed line. No one was injured in the mishap.
