Thursday night the Haleyville High Lady Lions basketball team won the Area Championship by defeating Winfield 43-40. The Lady Lions will continue their quest for the state championship by playing Dora tonight in a home game at the HHS gym. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. Tomorrow night, the HHS Lions Varsity Boys Basketball team will play Cordova at Cordova after losing to Fayette last Thursday night 59-43. Play-by-play of both games can be heard on Paradise 92.7 with Craig Wakefield and David Albright tonight and Tuesday night starting just before 7.
