Friday evening at approximately 10 p.m. a vehicle and motorcycle collided in front of Goars Market on Highway 13. Daniel Berry, 39 of Haleyville, the rider of the bike was transported to UAB in Birmingham with multiple injuries including two broken legs. He is scheduled for surgery Monday. Reportedly, the vehicle pulled out in front of the moving motorcycle. Just a reminder that many riders are out during the summer months and to take an extra moment to look for the single headlight approaching and give way for the bikes. You could save someone’s life.
