The Haleyville Schools Board of Education met Tuesday, June 26, with all members present.  Twelve items were approved, including the expenditures for May in the amount of $1,405,174.47. Other items included amendments to the school policies and procedures manual, parent-student handbooks, coaching handbook, nutrition bids, copier paper order, a contract extension and added worker days, and the approval of a low bid of $49,000 to H&H Construction for the electrical installment in a new facility for the Welding Department. The Board also approved two fundraisers.

In personnel, the Board approved the resignation of the following teachers Mary Beth Hall (Pugh), Laura Beth Williams, Brittany McRae, and Caleb Beason. The Board approved the hiring of Jada Mitchell, Brandi Crumpton, Meagan Pugh, Katie Coleman, Jeff McKinney and Callie Pendley.
