The Midterm Election had no big surprises in Winston County which has been a predominately Republican County since just after the Civil War. With no opposition, all the candidates from Judges Carter and Newell, Sheriff Moore, Commissioners Everett and Cummings, Probate Judge Moore, and Circuit Clerk Snoddy were all reelected. Both Republicans, Proncey Robertson and Stacy Estes where elected as State Representatives.
