A 5-month-old baby boy was pronounced dead at the Lakeland Hospital Tuesday, morning April 2 around 8 a.m. by Winston County Deputy Corner Tracey Yealock. Reportedly, the baby was brought to the hospital by the boy’s father. The baby had been left with his father by his mother around midnight Monday at the Imperial Inn Motel. The Haleyville Police Department is investigating awaiting a report from the Alabama Forensic Lab in Huntsville on the cause of death.
