POSITION AVAILABLE: PART-TIME RADIO DISPATCHER CLASS 2

Job Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must have the ability to become proficient in the operations of communication equipment. Must be able to take detailed phone messages. Must be at least 19 years of age. Must have no criminal record (excluding minor traffic citations) Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

12 Hour shifts (5:30 am – 5:30 pm) (5:30 pm – 5:30 am)

Pay $10.50 – $11.55 (Depending On Experience)

As storms moved through Northwest Alabama late Wednesday and early Thursday morning. Several trees were reported down in the Haleyville, Ashridge, and Lynn areas. Members of the Lynn Fire and Rescue were out most of the night removing trees which had fallen and blocked Highway 5 and County Road 25. No buildings were reported damaged and no one was injured from the high winds and storms.
