• Miss 9-1-1 2019 Bethany Knight

    Miss Bethany Knight is a graduate of Hamilton High School and a freshman at the University of Alabama obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Music in Vocal Performance and Theory.  She is a recipient of the Presidential Scholarship from UA and the Valedictorian of her senior class in 2018.  Her accomplishments include Guest Princess on the Broadway Princess Party tour; 2016, 2017, and 2018 Best Actress Award with Self Express Productions; Miss Hamilton High School; and Class of 2018’s Most Likely to Succeed- Girl. Miss Knight enjoys drawing pictures of Broadway actors as their respective characters which resulted in backstage access at the National Tour of the Phantom of the Opera along with numerous acknowledgments through social media from Broadway performers. Miss Knight states, “Miss America is the ideal representation of what young women should be and I want to hold myself to that standard. I chose this organization so my platform could have a strong foundation and my talent and love of performing could be shared.” 

    As Miss 9-1-1, Bethany will next compete in the Miss Alabama Competition. If chosen Miss Alabama, she will then compete in the Miss America Competition. The Haleyville Rotary Club wish her the best.
