Primary Election 2018 Results
These numbers are the totals for all 19 boxes in Winston County In the case of the State House and Senate races, the other areas have to be added in. There will be a runoff election in 45 days for the Alabama House District 17 between Estes and Seagraves. Bobby Everett had more than 50% of the votes to win his incumbent seat on the Winston County Commission District 1.

Haleyville City Council
The Haleyville City Council met Monday with Mayor Ken Sunseri and Councilman Blue Russell absent. The meeting was presided over by Mayor Pro Tem Richard Bittinger. Only one main item was covered in the short meeting. The Council approved a change order to the Sports Complex/Playground with the approval of additional fencing around the sewer pumping station, entrance cul-de-sac, and playground. The fencing was changed from a six foot to a four-foot fence which lowered the bid price with a new contract price of $22,080.50.
The next meeting of the Haleyville City Council will be Monday, June 18.
