The Haleyville Board of Education met Tuesday and approved the financial statements and expenditures for March in the amount of $1,301,792.47. The Board also approved the HHS athletic supplement list, child nutrition rollover bids, one field trip, and four fundraisers.

The following were hired for the 2017-2018 school year: Andy Lambert, Katie Brewer, Hannah Fox, Mary Beth Pugh, Andrew Welborn, Gina Wilson, and Shirley Kelley. The Board approved the resignation of Anna Beck Yates and Victoria Pendley and the retirement of Betty Wakefield.
