Water service will be disrupted in Cripple Creek Wednesday morning around 8:30 a.m. This will allow workers the opportunity to comple the water and sewer upgrade work in that area. There is no time frame on how long this work will last.

NO PARKING -STREET PAVING NOTICE 22ND STREET CITY OF HALEYVILLE.  On Wednesday, November 16, 2016, the City of Haleyville will begin cleaning and paving 22nd Street. Work will continue through Friday, November 18, 2016. No parking will be allowed along 22nd Street during this time. A two vehicle crash occured Monday night at the intersection in front of Walmart on Highway 195. The driver of the Chevy Blazer Jacob Davis, 19, Bear Creek and 3 passengers all went to the Lakeland ER by a privite vehicle. The driver of the Buick Regal, Marvie Walker, 75, Haleyville was transported by ambulance to Lakeland ER. The accident was investigated by Haleyville Police.
